Welcome to RI+DGE School of Government

RI+DGE School of Government implements basic and applied research as well as digital education programs in response to the following challenges:

​

1. The explanatory models to understand development problems and the tools available to tackle those development issues need to be revised in the face of the complexity of such problems.

2. There is high-level research on development problems. Unfortunately, the application of this specialized knowledge is still insufficient.  Valuable research results remain in scientific journals or technical seminars. They do not achieve social and policy impact. At the same time, several government programs lack adequate scientific support in their design, monitoring, and evaluation.

3. Citizen trust in governments is declining. The discredit of the political class is growing in different parts of the world. Thus, leaders and management teams in the public policy arena should expand their political, technical, and ethical skills to handle power relations creatively.
